Unabomber
On May 25th, 1978, a bomb detonated on Northwestern’s campus, injuring a security guard. This security guard was sent to the scene after Northwestern University professor of Engineering Buckley Crist alerted campus security about a brown paper bag that had been returned to him, the supposed sender. This was the first (and in the case of our committee, is the only) bomb sent by the Unabomber. In this committee, the delegates will take on roles from the Evanston Police Department, the local branch of authority, in order to find out the cause of, and the sender of this bomb. The timing is dire, and a quick and focused approach must be used if the Northwestern campus, as well as Evanston as a whole, can feel safe again. One thing is for sure: the hunt has begun.
